Mayor & County Council

County Council 2022–2026

Greenfield County Council is comprised of the Mayor and eight Councillors representing four wards. Council meets on the first and third Monday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers at County Hall, 200 Greenfield Drive.

Council meetings are open to the public and are live-streamed on the County's YouTube channel. Meeting agendas are published on the Friday prior to each meeting.

2026 Budget

County Council approved the 2026 operating and capital budgets on February 24, 2026. Highlights include:

  • Total operating budget: $98.5 million
  • Capital budget: $43.5 million
  • Tax rate increase: 2.8% (residential)
  • Major investments in road infrastructure ($24M), parks ($8M), and transit ($6M)
  • New investment in AI-powered infrastructure assessment technology
